Disney’s Joy Division

Given how litigious Disney is when it comes to appropriation of their characters, it’s a bit surprising that they’re now hawking a Joy Division-inspired Mickey Mouse t-shirt on  Disneystore.com. Sure, Joy Division was a very important, very talented group and likely hugeDisney fans, but are you telling us that the President of Disney Merch HQ doesn’t know that the band named itself after a slang term for groups of women in concentration camps who were forced to prostitute themselves for Nazi officers?
